Donna Marie Imson, a young and struggling single mother of three, decided to try her hands at Network Marketing. The year was 1993.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
Donna went on to become a founding member of QNet in 1998—a global Network Marketing company with a wide range of products, from wellness to watches and holiday travel packages.
Today, Donna holds the important role of Executive Chairperson at QNet, where she continues to drive the company towards greater heights. QNet has over 5 million members worldwide and a physical presence in 160 countries.
She is also the Trustee for RYTHM Foundation, QNet’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm, where she pursues her tireless passion for philanthropy. Examples of recent initiatives include participation in World Vision’s Sponsorship Program, monetary donation to help Hong Kong based children with autism, and giving aid to victims of Typhoon Ondoy in the Philippines, where she personally joined distribution efforts.
In 2009, Donna was invited to become a member of the Editorial Board of Networking Times, the preeminent publication of the Direct Selling and MLM Industry.
Ms. Imson is also an accomplished public speaker and trainer, and more importantly, a role model for millions of aspiring women entrepreneurs in the world. She actively reaches out and guides hundreds of thousands of members through The V, QNet’s member training arm, where she is also a founding member.

Donna Imson at the Elite Network Marketing Conference
INTRO: Ms Donna began with a warm welcome and displayed her fondness for Singapore to the assembled audience, and paid homage to the increasing success of the ENMC event now in its second year. She also shared her own personal story about how she first got involved in Network Marketing business.
PART 2: What We Need To Change: Following Donnas personal story, she expressed how Network Marketing as a profession is constantly evolving; however, there will always be fundamental principles that will stand the test of time.
PART 3: The 3 Kinds of Change: After revealing the timeless principles, Donna goes on to explain the three kinds of changes one must go through and the importance of embracing bigger and better opportunities.
PART 4: Networking Marketing Profession: As Ms Donna finishes her discussion on the three types of changes, she emphasised the necessity to give people the right perception of Network Marketing. Having the accurate perception is vital to building a long term relationship with your customers and prospects.
CLOSING OF SPEECH: Towards the end of Ms Donnas inspirational speech, she stressed that currently, Network Marketing as an industry is in its prime and the opportunity is there for everybody, which is why change needs to be made today!

Restarting Right
On June 30, 1993, I did something I’d never imagined I would do: I signed up as a distributor for a network marketing company.
I was both clueless and upline-less: My friend Mel, who worked for this company, had informed me that it was running a free registration promotion, and all I needed to do to become a member was sign on the dotted line.
